Of all the coins we do from the United States, this is probably the most popular. One of the nice things is that it was minted from 1917 to 1947. There were a few exclusions during the Depression. Many customers have us do custom dates on this one. Some of the earlier years have a premium on the price of the coin. In addition, most pieces can be finished in 14k gold which gives our buyers over 7,000 different possibilities.
Bookmark our store and come back often as we are adding new coins all the time. Every piece we produce is fully guaranteed against breakage and discoloration.
Each piece starts with an original coin or medallion and is hand pierced to remove the background and release the design of the piece. The piece is then polished to remove years of use and finally goes on to the finishing process. Our most popular finish is our unique 2-Tone finish which is a combination of Rhodium and 14 karat gold.
This finish is guaranteed for life. Some of the pieces we do are reproductions of original coins and Private Mint issue Medallions. Many of the pieces we do are very rare, start as Solid Gold Coins, or have mintages as low as 1000. These would be impossible to offer in their original state due to the high cost. Some of these coins are reproduced with the age-old art called lost wax casting. These pieces are still hand pierced just as our original coins and allow us to continue offering the rare and unique pieces you are looking for.
